PayPal and GenSando Launch the “Slice of Life Survey”

PayPal has joined forces with GenSando to sponsor the Slice of Life Survey, a survey and research initiative designed to better understand the financial, emotional, and caregiving realities of the Sandwich Generation. The campaign focuses on understanding the reality of midlife adults who are simultaneously supporting aging parents, raising children, and managing careers or businesses... often without sufficient visibility or support.

Through its sponsorship, PayPal is helping amplify the voices of this often-overlooked population by supporting the survey’s development, reach, and distribution. The Slice of Life Survey explores key themes including caregiving responsibilities, financial stress, time constraints, emotional wellbeing, and access to economic tools, with the goal of generating data that can inform more inclusive solutions across the care economy.

The partnership aligns with GenSando’s mission to blend research, storytelling, and cultural relevance to advocate for the Sandwich Generation while producing actionable insights for businesses, policymakers, and community leaders.

Findings from the survey will be shared through GenSando’s platform and partner channels to help guide future programs, partnerships, and product innovation focused on strengthening economic resilience for caregivers in midlife.
